Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer who can completely own the entire development lifecycle – from scope and project requirement planning, development and delegation, QA to deployment. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams consisting of product owners, back-end and front-end developers. The ideal candidate will take on and deliver complex tasks, perform code reviews and help level up junior developers, and maintain the integrity of our code quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in Laravel with a deep understanding of event-driven architecture – queues (pub/sub), CQRS, micro-services, etc.
- Knowledgeable with relational and KV databases – MySQL & Redis
- Deep understanding of React.js (SPA), HTML, and CSS
- Experience with containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Cloud experience with AWS/GCP – Cloud Storage (S3/Minio), K8s
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Related field; otherwise minimum of 6 years of working experience with above technologies
- Familiarity with the cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
- Design chops – as the full-stack lead, delivering and ensuring cross-device beautiful UI/UX is ideal – you will still be working alongside a designer
Coding Challenge
To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the interview process.
Compensation
The base pay for this role is between $135,000 and $170,000.
